Astec Agregados E Mineração Do Brasil’s new 110,021 ft2 manufacturing facility in Vespasiano, Minas Gerais, Brasil will begin operations in late 2012. The factory will employ a staff of 33 people, eventually growing to around 115. As a member of the Astec Industries group of companies, Astec Agregados E Mineração Do Brasil will initially manufacture KPI-JCI and Telsmith branded jaw and cone crushers and market products from Breaker Technology and Osborn. Astec’s South American customers will benefit from decreased freight and import costs as well as prompt customer service thanks to this new manufacturing and after-sales support base in Brasil. We are also expanding our distribution and dealer presence in the region to offer you timely and local sales and product support.
